About JTMDAI

Development Group

An independent personal software & AI lab — a clinician’s rigor, a builder’s tools.

The lab

A builder’s side of medicine

JTMDAI Development Group is a personal software and AI lab run by Jeremy Tabernero — a physician by training and a builder by practice.

It is independent of, and does not represent, any employer or healthcare institution. The work centers on three things: AI agents, automation, and secure, self-hosted tooling that the owner of the data actually controls. The lab favors small, well-understood systems over sprawling platforms, and boring, battle-tested technology over novelty for its own sake.

How the lab works

Principles

  • Data sovereignty You own your data. It stays encrypted at rest and in transit, and it is never quietly exploited or sold.
  • Local-first AI Local models run first; the cloud is a fallback, not the default — so reasoning happens on infrastructure you control whenever it can.
  • Security by default Encryption and access control are designed in from the start, not bolted on after something breaks.
  • Audit everything Actions are written to append-only, immutable records, so what happened and why is always recoverable.
  • Boring, battle-tested tech Proven tools are the default. Novelty has to earn its place by solving a real problem the boring option cannot.

Flagship project

Guardian One

Guardian One is the lab’s flagship: a multi-agent AI orchestration platform for personal life and infrastructure management. It coordinates autonomous agents across domains — finance, scheduling, email, smart-home and IoT, and security — from a single coordinator.

It is built around the principles above: encryption, access control, and audit trails are core to the design rather than afterthoughts, and local-first AI keeps reasoning close to home. It is an evolving personal system, described here at a high level.
